Chef Traci Vincent

About

Chef Traci Vincent Druilhet is a culinary educator, public health educator, and wellness chef with over a decade of experience specializing in anti-inflammatory, nutrient-dense cooking for families and communities. She is a curriculum creator in Culinary Literacy, a research-affiliated interventionist, and a community-based program leader dedicated to improving health outcomes through food, education, and culturally relevant practice.

A graduate of Louisiana State University’s Manship School of Mass Communication and Johns Hopkins University, Traci began her professional career on Capitol Hill before returning to her roots in Louisiana to pursue her culinary calling. She later earned her culinary degree from Louisiana Culinary Institute and has received multiple honors, including a scholarship from the James Beard Foundation.

Traci’s areas of expertise include culinary education, behavior-based nutrition interventions, family wellness, culturally responsive programming, and translating public health research into practical, everyday application. She has partnered with organizations such as Pennington Biomedical Research Center, Aetna Better Health of Louisiana, and The Amandla Group, delivering evidence-based cooking demonstrations, curriculum, and nutrition education that support sustainable lifestyle change.

Through her signature “Culinary Literacy” curriculum, Traci teaches children and families how to connect food, reading, and wellness—helping young people build lifelong skills in health, critical thinking, and self-efficacy. Her work with youth-serving organizations, including Big Buddy, focuses on early intervention and family engagement as key drivers of long-term health outcomes.

Traci offers:

  • Private in-home cooking experiences for families
  • Culinary Literacy programs for schools and organizations
  • Virtual cooking classes and memberships
  • A signature line of spice blends
